SYPD is
working to create self-sufficiency amongst the poorer
members of the Somali youth by providing them with the
skills to help them help themselves.
In this connection, SYPD carries small projects that help
break the vicious cycle of poverty.
For instance, SYPD has
provided street youth with shoe polishing kits. These young
kids currently manage the daily lives of hundreds of
families !!
